October Stamp of the Month Mini Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop highlighing this month's stamp set, Holiday Magic.  We are thrilled to showcase some fun uses for this gorgeous stamp set!

This hop is one big circle so feel free to start here and move through the entire loop.  You can also find a complete listing of all 13 participants by visiting Melissa's Blog. If you have arrived here from Sheila's Blog, you are on the right track!  So... let's get started!

I created this layout so I could be ready for our family Christmas photos. I have already asked a friend to take some family pictures at Christmas and so now I just need to add pictures. I did add our individual names on the top of each of the stockings. Unfortunately you can not see it. (And yes, the stockings are supposed to go down in a slope).

Technique Blog Hop- Multicolor Motifs

Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop!  This month there are 14 of us highlighting the “Multicolor Motifs” Technique as shown on page 110 in the Autumn/Winter 2011 Idea Book!  This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique.  If you would like to start from the beginning, please visit this link.  While there you will also find a listing of all participants and their blog addresses if you should get lost or want to reference a blog along the way.  Let’s get started!

If you are coming from Shirley's Blog, you are on the right track!

I used the colors goldrush, pear, and chocolate to color the pumpkin in the So Grateful stamp set.  I do apologize for it not being a clear picture. This is the first time I have tried this technique and I don't know if it is the person or the fact that I tried to use words to color.  Then I used one of the swirls to create a border around the base color of the card.

Supply List:
Bamboo cardstock - 1301
Bright Green Shade Pack Pear cardstock - X5905
Goldrush cardstock - Dreamin Level 2 Paper Packet X7142B
Colonial white cardstock  - 1388
Pear marker - Z2397
Goldrush marker - Z2323
Chocolate marker - Z2311
So Grateful stamp set - B1395
Colonial White ribbon collection - Z1126
Metal Assortment Pewter brads - Z1368

Thanks for stopping by!  Please continue onto Judy's Blog where you will find some additional artwork highlighting this technique!  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought of my variation and happy hopping!

Stamp of the Month Mini Blog Hop

Welcome to our inspirational blog hop, where we are sharing creative ideas with you showcasing this month's Stamp of the Month. This month's Stamp of the Month is called "Limited Edition". It contains 21 images and is available for just $5 with a $50 purchase!

I have some wonderful Consultants joining me in this hop which works as a circle. So begin "hopping" and feel free to leave comments along the way.

You should have arrived here from Michelle's Blog blog.

I made this 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 card using our new cricut cartridge and the Typeset paper packet.

Products used:
Cricut cartridge Z1686
Typeset paper pack X7139B
Juniper ink Z2165
Creme Brulee ink Z2167
Desert Sand ink Z2118
Sponge Dauber Z726
Star dimensional elements Z1683
Licorice Opaques Z1335
Wishes How To Program 9033

I cut the card from the cricut cartridge and used the Wishes pattern Curtain Call. I sponged the desert sand ink on the star dimensional element with the sponge dauber and used the licorice opaques to decorate the star and added a small one to the right of the card.

This stamp set is so versatile. This card using the remember could be for a party or a birthday but also if you change the sentiment this could be a great card for a man.  I think you could even use this card for a man using the remember for a birthday.

Thank you for stopping by. Now hop on over to Cherri's Blog blog where she will show you her creative use of this stamp set! Happy Hoppin'!
