Daily Bible Reading - January

This year's daily Bible Reading is set up differently than the normal begin in Genesis and go through Revelation.  Too many times a reader gets bogged down for whatever reason at about the book of Leviticus. That is about the time that a reader gets busy, or the new wears off, or Leviticus is just too much to handle with all of the laws and such.  Leviticus is a great book but, that is another topic in itself. This year we will begin reading in Romans. Yes, I said Romans.  Each day will be a different type of reading as follows: Sunday -the Epistles; Monday - The Law; Tuesday - History; Wednesday - Psalms; Thursday - Poetry; Friday - Prophecy; Saturday - The Gospels.

I still have not figured out the calendar so I will schedule the post for every day.  If you subscribe and become a follower then when I update you can receive an email of each post. This will be helpful if you choose the Daily Bible Reading plan as it will come to your inbox.

Here is your first week's reading plan.

Today's (Jan 1) reading is: ROMANS 1-2
MONDAY'S (Jan 2) - GENESIS 1-3
TUESDAY (Jan 3)- JOSHUA 1-5

THURSDAY (Jan 5)- JOB 1-2
FRIDAY (Jan 6)- ISAIAH 1-6

  1. I think it is neat that you are doing this and I have a little catching up to do, but that is on today's agenda. Are there discussion questions or specific directives that should be gotten from each one?
