Cicero Cookies

Cicero Cookies

2 cups sugar                                            1 teaspoon vanilla

¼ cup cocoa                                            ½ cup peanut butter

1 stick margarine                                    3  cups uncooked oatmeal

½ cup canned milk

Mix first five ingredients and cook thirty seconds, after it comes to a boil.  Put in peanut butter and stir quickly until it melts.  Mix in oatmeal quickly.  Put on wax paper.  Add ½ cup nuts if desired.

Do Not Double!

This recipe was given to my grandmother by Irene Cicero.  That is why we called them Cicero cookies.
